MM Plastics / Dotmar
Multi-brand, multi-region digital platform at scale

Overview
MM Plastics, through its flagship brand Dotmar, operates across multiple regions with distinct market requirements. The organisation needed a digital platform that could support multiple brands and countries from a single, shared foundation, while remaining easy to extend over time.
Noice delivered a Magnolia DXP platform designed explicitly for multi-brand, multi-region rollout, launching dotmar.com.au and dotmar.co.nz simultaneously, with localisation baked in from day one. Noice continues to provide long-term support and operational ownership of the platform.
The challenge
MM Plastics required a platform that could:
- Support multiple brands on a shared codebase
- Launch Australian and New Zealand sites in parallel
- Handle regional localisation (content, structure, and future market variation)
- Enable fast rollout of additional brands without re-engineering
- Be backed by a partner providing ongoing support, maintenance, and reliability
Previous approaches made multi-site delivery slow, fragile, and expensive to scale.

The solution
Noice implemented Magnolia DXP as a multi-site, multi-brand platform, architected for reuse and controlled variation.
Multi-brand & multi-region architecture
- Single Magnolia platform supporting multiple brands and regions
- Shared component library with brand- and market-specific configuration
- Structured content models enabling localisation without duplication
- Clear separation between global, regional, and brand-specific content
This allowed Dotmar Australia and Dotmar New Zealand to launch at the same time, using a shared foundation with localised content and structure.
Ongoing platform support
Noice continues to support MM Plastics through a long-term managed services engagement, covering:
- Platform maintenance and Magnolia upgrades
- Infrastructure monitoring and JVM tuning
- Incident response and production issue resolution
- Deployment coordination for new sites and features
- Advisory support for onboarding additional brands

Operating model
Noice operates as a long-term platform partner, not a one-off delivery vendor:
- Continuous ownership of the Magnolia environments
- Deep platform knowledge retained over time
- Rapid support during outages or critical incidents
- Ongoing enablement of MM Plastics' internal teams
This model has enabled MM Plastics to move from isolated site builds to a repeatable, scalable rollout model.
Outcomes
- Simultaneous launch of dotmar.com.au and dotmar.co.nz with localisation
- Significantly faster rollout of additional brands onto the same platform
- Reduced cost and complexity per new site
- Consistent UX and governance across regions and brands
- A platform designed for continuous expansion, not periodic rebuilds
MM Plastics is already using this foundation to roll out additional brands, with minimal overhead.

Why Noice
MM Plastics continues to partner with Noice because of:
- Proven expertise in Magnolia multi-site and multi-brand architectures
- Ability to deliver parallel, cross-region launches
- Long-term ownership of production platforms
- A pragmatic, operations-first mindset
